My very first costume, from Anime Weekend Atlanta 2004. Constructed both by me and my mother, as I wasn't a very good seamstress when I first started. Everything is storebought except for the vest. I modified a jacket pattern from the 60s, so please don't ask about the pattern, because I can't really help you there.
 ; All I can say is look for something with princess seams! When I rewore it at Anime Expo 2005, I had a new wig, new scarf, new gloves, more accurate sleeves, and had taken in the seams to make the jacket better-fitted. |

We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you  the news article as well as check out the individual pieces.
